a long time ago, i did a guest post for elanor, which you can read here, and i wore this outfit! i recently wore this same dress again to go out one night for a late birthday thing with my friends. it is honestly one of my favorite dresses i own (especially with a cardigan. i love collars and cardigans). but i figured i should share it with you here. but be sure to check out elanor's blog

also, i've been listening to father john misty (formerly j. tillman, also formerly the drummer of fleet foxes) especially, nancy, from now on. (video below)

  12. Stunning! I love the 50s feel of the dress. Those shoes are also stellar, of course. What I'm really jealous of, though, if your HAIR. I just love the color and the texture and it always looks so healthy and silky! Way to be a total babe!

  13. glad you linked so I could find out a new blog. the dress looks lovely on you, so simple but pretty w/ the collar. btw you are a natural blonde?! I cannot even picture that... do you have any posts from then? & i really like your hair color now btw, def no need to dye it again.

  14. OoOooh that dress! Polkadots make everything better, especially with the collar and those shoes. Also, your hair looks mighty fine like this so you don't have to dye it if you don't want to.

  15. I've made a mental note to listen to Father John Misty. If he's formerly of Fleet Foxes, then he has to be good.

This is one fab dress. Oh! Your birthday dress was lovely, too! What a great find. I didn't blog it, but my birthday dress this year was also $5 thrift find. Can't beat it :)
