the black keys
in lieu of their new album, el camino, i'm going to talk about the black keys.
the black keys are a duo from akron, ohio consisting of dan auerbach and patrick carney. i'd describe them as the raucous blues. when they first started out, they were very blues oriented. much more so than the polished sound of their latest albums. auerbach's voice causes my knees to go weak and i'm honestly amazed at the amount of pure music they're able to make as a duo. and live! oh god live. you just have to see/hear it to believe it.
