caitlin rose has become a quick favorite with me. her wry honesty and twangy voice have filled a hole in my heart. it's definitely country based, but with modern observations in her writing. the small details in the songs are utter perfection. her album was just realized on vinyl and i obsessively pre-ordered it and awaited the day it arrived. i hope you enjoy it too.

She's one of those people who's disgustingly talented and really young, isn't she? Her voice reminds me a lot of Zooey Deschanel, but much better songs.

ReplyDeleteThis is going to sound terrible, but I generally don't like lady singers. I guess I just prefer men's voices. But I love her voice, and her songs are wonderful! I hadn't heard of her before, but thanks for sharing, since I'll now be listening to her all the time
