it's warm and sunny once again in california, but sometimes i still want the comfort of a cardigan. i've been feeling especially lazy the last couple days. when it gets warm outside, i get sunlight constantly in my room. so from 1 pm to about 7 pm, it's hard to want to do anything because it gets so warm. but today luckily is a lot cooler than it has been. there's a nice breeze, and i'm welcoming all the sunlight i can get.
i got this dress at the thrift store on memorial day. they had a .99 cent all clothing sale. so i picked up this little number, and another shirt. the dress was originally two feet longer than this, but i cut it, and altered the neckline a bit to bring it down. it's very simple, it's not my favorite, but for .99 and an hours work? it'll do.

That dress looks adorable on you. And for 99 cents? Too much awesomeness! It's been so very warm here as well, but now it's sixties and rainy. Fickle weather!

ReplyDeleteI always have a coat near me. I can't get over how different the weather is here from Buenos Aires! It always cools down at night! I'm sure that'll be nice when hot summer days are finally here :).
