october. we're almost halfway through and i feel like it's just started. today it's a bright and sunny 78 degrees outside. stupid california. i want to wear scarves and listen to the rain. but instead it's perfectly lovely outside.
this outfit is from last thursday? yes thursday. it was raining out, so my hair, as usually decides to do it's own thing. i was trying something new, with a long sleeved shirt. i'm still craving the 'tomboy' look. with oxfords, plaid and tweed. but my wardrobe is full of florals, collars and bows. what is a girl to do?
details:
cardigan: h&m
plaid shirt: thrifted
skirt: target dress turned skirt
belt: thrifted
tights: kohl's
shoes: forever 21
brooch: modcloth
definitely working this outfit! i love it. i wish i could pull it off as well as you have. i always try to long sleeved button down-cardigan look and i always look disgruntled, frumpled, and sad haha! but who can resist plaid?!
ReplyDeleteand it's been the exact same here weather wise in indiana! it's been high 70s/low 80s for the past week and it's downright disgraceful. sweater weather all the way.
This is put together so well! The plaid shirt looks effortlessly stylish with the cardigan, and the owl is adorable. The shoes are also great and look like they would be very versatile.
ReplyDeleteCan't explain exactly why but I LOVE this outfit especially. Maybe it's the plaid? I don't know. You look great.

cute look! i thought 'menswear 'at first but maybe tomboy is a better way to describe it. maybe if you had a blazer itd be more menswear? haha i like it though, its a cute look.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite outfits yet!
ReplyDeleteThe weather certainly hasn't felt very autumn-like/cool, but I can't say I'm upset. x

What a cool outfit, Bethany! Oh, and I can't over how different the weather it is here from what I'm used to! Yesterday I looked at how hot it was and the thermometer marked a striking 121 degrees! :O It didn't feel like it, though.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend! ;D
